Mediation under the MARC Mediation Rules in force as from 1 February 2014 is a flexible procedure aimed at achieving a negotiated settlement with the help of a neutral facilitator.
The Mediation Rules reflect modern practice and set clear parameters for the conduct of proceedings, while recognizing and maintaining the need for flexibility. They aim at providing economic operators and professionals with a simple, confidential and affordable method of reconciling their differences in an environment conducive to dialogue and guaranteed by professionalism.

MARC Internal Database of Mediators
The MARC Internal Database of Mediators consists of mediators from Mauritius and abroad. The aim of the Database is to provide the MARC Secretariat with a searchable database. To register for inclusion on the MARC Internal Database of Mediators, please click here. Please kindly note that registration on the Database is for information purpose only; it does not guarantee appointment as a mediator and does not entitle to any qualification as 'MARC Mediator'.

Code of Ethics for MediatorsThe MARC Rules of Ethics for Mediators provide ethical guidelines for the MARC Mediator so that he or she conducts his or her mediator's mission efficiently, observing the principles of fairness, neutrality, and confidentiality.
